Inferior quality buffer memory is one of the reasons why hard drives fail prematurely.</div><div><br /></div><div>3. It is much easier /cheaper to go and buy a new hard drive than to try and recover data from a crashed hard drive. </div><div><br /></div><div>4. External hard drives prices are falling, most of them provide Free backup software with them. So there is no excuse not to back up your data.</div><div><br /></div><div>5. Backing up your data is like having "data insurance". You may never need it,but if you do, it is there for your peace of mind.</div><div><br /></div><div>PS: Have a backup schedule and stick to it.
